God is the ultimate Sculpter
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
Jeremiah 1:5 is a crazy, powerful verse in the Bible. God knew before he even formed us and He knows why we were created. Amazing! So our job is to surrender so we can make more space for Him to work in our lives to get us to our destiny. Like Michelangelo saw the David trapped in the marble and his job was to chip away at the marble until He could set David free, so God needs to take things out of our lives that we hold onto so He can truly set us free.
God doesn’t test us to break us, he test us to build us. He is the master craftsman, and he knows what needs to be taken away, and what needs to be added. This can be disorienting and confusing as God realigns the chest pieces in your life, but we must trust in His perfect will and His perfect timing. This may lead to discouragement for some. But that discouragement will be replaced by intense purpose, and focus as things you used to rely upon our stripped away and only what you were created for remains. We only need to be really right one time in our lives in order to reach our destiny. Until then, we are on a journey to find our way home. Embrace the uncertainty and buckle up. God never promised us a smooth flight ,but only a safe landing,
