The enemy is leading the whole world astray
Be aware, be prepared.
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light
and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."-Isaiah 5:20
"The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him." -revelation 12:9
In the two verses above, we see God speaking of two things that are happening now: The world is so confused it calls good evil, and evil good and the devil is leading the whole world astray. The evidence is all around us. The enemy has so turned this world upside down that he’s got people thinking we are each others enemies, just because of political differences or different cultural backgrounds, race, or sex. What a deception!
But the real battle is between God and satan and billions of souls are at risk of being deceived, distracted and destroyed by a ruthless enemy. satan uses deception to create chaos and leads the whole world astray. We must understand that the Christian life right now on earth is not a playground, but a fierce battleground. How should we respond? Jesus needs Hos people to show what real life looks like. He wants us to be peacemakers, as He said in Matthew 5:9. Jesus also said in John 14 to “ love one another.” That is how we are to respond, by trying to bring some light into a very dark world.
