Align your life by applying Biblical truths and life will be filled with more contentment.

"The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender." - Proverbs 22:7

Practical Christianity is the ability to align your life by applying Biblical truths in a way that helps your life function with more contentment. Who doesn't want that? Today's verse speaks to a time-tested financial  truth: The borrower is the slave to the lender. This means we should avoid going into debt if at all possible. The opposite of slavery is freedom, so if you want to avoid financial slavery, don't  borrow money. The interest and repayment plans always work to the lender's advantage. If you are aligned with this basic principle of finance, you will not be enslaved and will have more financial freedom to chase your goals. Apply this truth and you will have more contentment.
