Seek Solitude
We all need to seek solitude in a noisy world.
Rid yourself of things that fill your calendar but empty your soul. Divine disruption is a reordering of your very being. You must become still enough to hear him. God removes all the noise and distractions so He can speak to you and you can hear Him. This may require you to get away and seek solitude but don't be dissuaded, even Jesus needed to do this: "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."- Luke 5:16
We should never deny our soul's yearning for peace and quiet, and to be still in the presence of the Lord. This recalibrates us, and renews our energy and focus. Sometimes, we allow ourselves to get so busy that we couldn't hear from God even if He wanted to get our attention. This is why seeking alone time and solitude are so important. Quieting your soul in a noisy world is a key to being content and finding peace in your days.
