God is worthy of it all
God deserves the glory.
"Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” - Isaiah 6:5
"The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"- John 1:29
"He must become greater; I must become less."- John 3:30
God is worthy of all of our praise. When Isaiah encountered God's throne and John saw Jesus, the proximity to deity immediately humbled them. They saw their own inadequacy and they felt the weight of their sin.
That should be our response as well to the God who loves us so much that He paid the price for our sin by laying it upon His Son Jesus so we could be set free. God deserves the glory becasue we deserved the punishment that was placed on Jesus, and instead we gained eternal life for believeing in Him. Jesus paid our sin tab in full. Be Humbled by that love that is beyond comprehension. Be in awe of the glory of our mighty God.
