God of this age has blinded the mind of unbelievers
We have a ruthless enemy of our souls that we must be aware of.
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. “- 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
The scripture above speaks of the “ god of this age that had blinded the mind of unbelievers so they can’t see the truth of the Gospel and who Christ is.
So, who or what is the god of this age? I have heard it taught by scholars that it’s satan. I have also heard it could be our false pride or wealth that hardens our hearts against god. Whatever it is, we need to ask God to reveal it to us and repent. It need not be complicated: Matthew 7:7 says “ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened.”
So ask, seek and knock. God will respond!
