The Bible is the prophetic compass you need to understand the times we are living in.
I am creating a new series called The Bible For Dummies. It is not meant as a condescending title, but rather an attempt to see deep biblical truths that are easy to apply to our lives for better living in a distracted and busy world. So many people feel stressed and overwhelmed. Many people are carrying heavy wounds. Jesus can heal and restore all. He's the only one.
The Bible contains about 30% prophetic writings from Old Testament Prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel and New Testament Books like Thessalonians and Revelation that help us understand in vivid detail where history is going and how God will restore all that has been lost and broken in this sin marred world. His promise is to reverse the curse ( Revelation 22:3 ) of what happened in the Garden of Eden. As part of this unfolding climatic event, Jesus promised to reveal himself in ever increasing glory and intensity as we get closer to his return. This is happening now as He is revealing himself to all people through a powerful movement of the Holy Spirit on the earth as Habakkuk 2:14 promised: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
Habakkuk 2:3 says that He is coming at the appointed time, and nothing can stop it: “For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Are you ready for His return? In the twinkling of an eye, nothing else will matter.
