Awaken!
God is trying to get our attention but we are sleep walking like Zombies.
I was thinking the other day when walking down the street and seeing everyone staring at their phones with such intensity, that they literally had no idea where they were going, that the world has never been more lost. It was literally like watching a zombie movie. People are in a daze, and fear seems etched into most people's faces.
It got me to thinking that one of the main problems in the world today is the failure of the Christian Church to stand up for the truth, and to guide people towards the light and out of the darkness. When the attacks against the sovereignty of God, whether through political parties or satanically fueled media companies, sow so much confusion and deception, the Christian church needs to respond. It needs to be bold to be powerful! That is how you refute the craziness of men thinking they're girls, the killing of the unborn, the thought of communism being a better system than capitalism ( just look at N. Korea as an example of a world without true hope or any personal rights ) and the demonic forces that are tearing our country and the world apart.
The Church cannot be timid . It cannot take a step back in the face of persecution. It should not try to fit in , it should try to stand out from cultural insanity and depravity. It must speak the truth of the Gospel and not worry about popularity but speak about salvation and sanctification. The church in many cases is wide and shallow. It should rather be deep and narrow. Jesus is coming back for His remnant church- His Bride, not a watered down and culturally pleasing gospel. The Lukewarm church has no chance as foretold in Revelation 3:16
The signs are everywhere from Matthew 24 that Jesus taught that we are accelerating into the end times, the times of great deception, as mentioned in Revelation 13:14 and 20:10, when satan leads the whole world astray. We must be compassionate to those who are so caught up in politics and cultural conflict and confusion, walking around like real life zombies, that they are missing their need for a Savior. The Bible is clear Jesus will return in an instant, like a thief in the night, as mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 5:2, and all the money in the world won't save those who have been slumbering, and are sleep walking in despair . The church needs to wake up, so in turn the inhabitants of the earth can be awoken.
