All that is lost will be redeemed

This life is just a vapor; We were built for eternity!

One thing th Bible is clear about is that in this fallen world, there will be pain and trouble. It is inevitable. In John 16:33 Jesus says so "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” That's why there is also so much discussion in the Bible on God's promises of eterntiy, and how we can look forward with joy to what is to come. This life is just a vapor. As a Christian, death is not something to be feared, but it is ratehr just a cotinuation of our existence. However, on the other side there will be none of the pain that ravages this life on earth.

In 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, Ecclesiastes 3:11 etc. we are repeatedly encouraged to fix our eyes on Christ and His eternal promises and not on the fallen things of this life. It doesnt make the searing pain of temporary loss and separation any easier, but it is the whole foundation of our hope and joy that we will be in eternity with our loved ones forever vs. the vapor of this life. There, every prayer is answered and all healing and redemption are complete. When the inevitable pain of this life hits, keep being vulnerable, and God will overwhelm you with His grace to hold you tightly until you are in eternity in the twinkling of an eye, as it says in 1 Corinthians 15:52 " in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."
