Enduring through the storms on the way to ultimate victory

We must learn to praise God in the storm even before we see the victory!

Endurance is a quality the Bible describes as necessary in order to be successful in living out the Christian life. Why? Because the attacks in the spiritual realms can be intense and leave us shaken when we are in the middle of a fierce storm that we often cannot see, but we can fully feel. In these moments, we must remember to "fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God," as Hebrews 12:2 says.

In other words, our only way to endure the intense storms of life is to fix our eyes on the One who endured he greatest storm ever on the Cross. We must realize that we are "built for eternity," as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says and that Jesus can relate to out suffering, as Hebrews 2:18 says "because he himself suffered." The only way we can do this is if we remember to praise Him in the storm, before we see the victory and remember He is good, loving and faithful and one day we will be ultimately victorious!
