God must be at the center of your life if you want peace that transcends understanding.
Who is in control of your life? This is a critical question you must answer if you ever want to obtain lasting peace. If situations, other people or yourself are put in the center of your life as pillars of control, then peace will always be elusive and temporary at best. Why? Because situations, people and ourselves are always succeptible to changing circumstances and emotions.
Only God never changes ( Hebrews 13:5 ) and He is the firm foundation (Matthew 7:24-25) upon which you can build a lasting peace, even when situations change, pain comes, and people betray you. God is the only One who can give you what you are longing for- make Him the center of your life and your peace will exponentially increase! God must be at the center of your life if you want peace that transcends understanding. Nothing else can or will ever satisfy.
