True Wisdom and Compassion Come From The Lord

God is in control, and we are not. That is a very good thing.

“Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.- Proverbs 9:9

Learning more about God and ingesting His wisdom is a lifelong pursuit with great rewards.

“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”-Romans 15:4

Endurance is required to run the race of life God has for us as there will be many obstacles.

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.”- Psalm 103:8

Compassion is one of God’s attributes for us, and we should share it with others who are hurting in this broken world.

Above are 3 great scriptures that we should learn to trust in and meditate on because here's the truth; You don’t change God, He changes you. You don’t influence God, He is all sufficient, but He should be influencing you. God doesn’t need our knowledge, God is all-knowing. God has no stress or worry, He created the Universe and He knows the future, so if you’re feeling stressed out, Are you trusting in His plans or yours? God made you for eternity, so He has a long term plan. Our attention spans are measured in seconds. How much of the 1440 minutes in a day do you spend in God’s presence?

Let these truths sink in deep and peace will begin to work in the areas of anxiousness in your life. I know this is true for me. I must constantly be shifting my attention from my circumstances to His promises and truths.
