Tower of Babel days

In our age of radical humanism , we have gone back to the days of the Tower of Babel where we think we are truly in control. We get it so wrong about our relationship to God, as if we can dictate to Him. Then even worse is when people commit horrific acts against their fellow man, and then blame God for “allowing it.” What a derranged and depraved mindset. God is so patient, graceful, forgiving and loving towards us, and yet we are filled with rage against His authority, which like dividing lines on a highway is meant for our protection. Jeremiah 17:9 is so accurate when it says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and beyond cure. Who can understand it?”
