Embrace Uncertainty
Find joy in embracing the uncertainty of life
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”- Joshua 1:9
The Bible commands us to "fear not" more than any other command, but it also says we must "be courageous on many occasions. These two seemingly go hand in hand. We must fear not because we often won't know what the future holds, but we can put our trust in the one who holds us in His mighty hand, that is God himself. We must be courageous because circumstances will change often, and we need to fight our way through the every changing landscape of our life. Many people get paralyzed by the fear of uncertainty, but we can also learn to embrace the uncertainty and find joy in the great adventure of life. We will either be a slave to fear, or a courageous and bold follower of God who learns to embrace the uncertainty of life. Which will you choose?
