Security is found in no one else
Jesus is the solid rock on which I stand, all other things are shifting sand.
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Day 4- Practical Christianity is the ability to apply Biblical truths to your life in a way that helps your life function with more contentment. Today let's consider that God is the One true source of our security. Most people live a life of quiet desperation. Why? I believe because in our pride, we try to find security in anything other than God. When in fact, God is the only place we can find true security. Everything else is shifting sand. God is the only one that is secure through all the storms and valleys of life. He is the One that sustains us, he is the One who holds us. Everything else is fleeting and will make us feel unstable. Only God alone can give us the true stability that our souls long for.
