Kingdom of self

We must be 2nd so Jesus can be 1st in our lives.

The hardest thing in Christianity is to take ourselves off of the throne of our lives and put Jesus on it. We can no longer be 1st because Jesus must be. This is hard because the Kingdom of self is heavily defended territory. This is a moment by moment, day by day process over the course of a lifetime as we learn from and grow through every experience we have. Dying to self is hard, but I have learned not dying to self is even harder. Only in this context does the scripture below make any sense,

"Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it " Luke 9:23-24

Impact Ministries Uganda is located in Mbale, the third largest town in Uganda. The ministry was founded in 1999 as a response to the cry of a nation emerging from years of political turmoil and poverty.

Today we have planted 200+ churches in Uganda, an orphanage with 500 children, and a radio station reaching the towns and villages in Eastern Uganda .

Open Arms Childcare Ministries

Open Arms Childcare Ministries is a non-profit charity that provides no-cost childcare to needy families. We currently have two campuses. Our first campus opened 11 years ago and is located in La Mision, Baja California, Mexico. Our second campus opened on 2016 and is located in Camalu, Baja Cailfornia, Mexico. Open Arms provides assistance to families who are in desperate need of childcare services.
