Fear Not
Trust in God and He will strengthen you.
Fear not! This is one of the most often cited commands in the Bible. But if we are honest, this can often feel like a burden, or much easier said than done. But why? It’s because we haven’t yet ceded the throne of our life to God. Why? Because we don’t trust Him enough. This is the key to finding the powerful faith that truly sets you free. But it’s not easy. So how do we do it? We ask God to help us. Matthew 7:7 is the key verse!
Fear will knock on our door every single day, but we get to decide whether we answer it and let it in. Lord, I don’t know what today holds, but I know that you hold onto me! Faith does indeed conquers fear, but we must remember to turn to the Lord‘s promises in order to diffuse the power of fear. The Bible is not just words on a page, it is life, it is truth, and it is power. Speak it over your fears!
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."- Isaiah 41:10
