Bible For Dummies 9.
The Bible gives us a roadmap for what's going to happen. We should pay attention.
I am creating a new series called The Bible For Dummies. It is not meant as a condescending title, but rather an attempt to see deep biblical truths that are easy to apply to our lives for better living in a distracted and busy world. So many people feel stressed and overwhelmed. Many people are carrying heavy wounds. Jesus can heal and restore all. He's the only one.
The Bible talks a lot about the spiritual battles that take place in the Heavenly Realms that effect the happenings on the earth like in Ephesians 6:12-18. It is pointed out that our enemy satan hates us and wants to destroy us and keep us out of God's kingdom at all costs and he uses deception as one of his main tactics. He infiltrates the media (Ephesians 2:1-2) to distract us with false narratives and to keep us from hearing our Shepherd Jesus's voice.
2 Corinthians 4:4 points to this when it says “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” Also, Matthew 7:13-14 says "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." These are chilling warnings that we best heed. The battle is real and it's intensifying- you can feel it. If you don't know, you can ensure your on the victorious team and remove mounds of anxiety by placing your trust in Jesus (see Romans 10:9-10) - the name that is above every other name. All knees will bow and every tongue confess that JESUS is Lord one day soon.( Philippians 2:10) No one's opinions or news headlines will matter. Remove the noise of the deceiver, who leads you astray and choose life through Jesus.
