You know what you value by how and with who you spend your time. How much did you spend with God?
I am creating a new series called The Bible For Dummies. It is not meant as a condescending title, but rather an attempt to see deep biblical truths that are easy to apply to our lives for better living in a distracted and busy world. So many people feel stressed and overwhelmed. Many people are carrying heavy wounds. Jesus can heal and restore all. He's the only one.
There are 1440 minutes in a day. How many do you spend thinking about God, either praying, reading scripture or seeking Him in your daily grind? They say you can know what anyone values by how they spend their time. If you say you value God, does your time commitment confirm that? Matthew 6:33 promises " But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." I can guarantee one thing: The more time you spend with God, the more you will treasure that time spent. He is the source of all wisdom and nothing should be above Him.
