I am creating a new series called The Bible For Dummies. It is not meant as a condescending title, but rather an attempt to see deep biblical truths that are easy to apply to our lives for better living in a distracted and busy world. So many people feel stressed and overwhelmed. Many people are carrying heavy wounds. Jesus can heal and restore all. He's the only one.
God receives us just as we are. He meets us in our present condition, even if it's at our lowest point, and He welcomes us into His loving arms, but He loves us too much to keep us there. He wants to give us a new life built on His solid foundation filled with love, hope and truth. It is a radical change He's after, like a Caterpillar becoming a Butterfly, not some small makeover. He wants to give us a deep contentment that is not circumstantial, that can only come from walking in close proximity to him. He knows discontentment can make rich people poor, and contentment can make poor people rich. That is why He must begin a new work in you built around Him being at the center of your life.
