What a contrast!
God's love is so radical.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
What a contrast we see in John 10:10 above! God creates and brings abundant life while satan can only destroy, steal and tear down. We see both in real time every day of our lives. God can create beauty out of the ashes in our own lives, but yet He also holds the entire Universe together and keep planets from colliding or the sun from exploding. He is in the biggest things of science, yet in the smallest details of our daily lives.
The enemy on the other hand sows division, destruction and chaos through his deception and is opposed to everything God loves. The enemy cannot defeat God so he goes after what God loves, mainly His people and His Creation. He tries to steal our joy and destroy our family's. We must pray for God to protect us and bless us everyday and keep our focus on Him.
God is worthy of all our praise because He loves us in every detail of our lives, even when we make a mess of it! We can't fully fathom on this side of eternity how deep His love is for us, and how much His patience and grace cover us, but He paid a huge price in having His Son die for us to try to show us. Remember that when life is hard, you are infinitely loved!
