Part of His miracles
What an honor to be included in God's miraculous work
"Jesus replied, They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat. We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish, they answered. Bring them here to me, he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children." -Mathew 14:16-21
Jesus always invites us in to be part of His Kingdom work on earth, which many times includes His miracles. He wants us to participate because as believers, we are His hands and feet. He loves to put His "super" on our "natural" to produce the supernatural results that leave us stunned and in awe- like feeding 5,000 people in a very remote setting with only 2 small fish and 5 loaves of bread. Humanly speaking, this was impossible. But by inviting His disciples into the miracle He was doing, He instilled them with a deeper sense of commitment to following Him and trusting Him for all things. Can you imagine the impact that event had on all who were present that day? Being God, He can choose to do things on His own, but He loves to invite us in to participate. How exciting it is to know Jesus loves us so much, He uses us to be a blessing to others in ways we could never achieve on our own.
