King David penned approximately 75 of the 150 Psalms found in the Bible. They are loaded with wisdom for everyday life. Let's look at some of them for pulling out that wisdom and applying it to our lives.
Psalm 4:8 “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
We can’t find true peace and rest for our soul in anything other than God because everything else is shifting sand. Eventually, anything else will lead to anxiety and fear will begin to creep in because it cannot sustain the peace and rest that is found only in God. Only God is stable in an unstable world.
