Fly like an Eagle
Like an Eagle, we can't soar unless we leave the nest.
With the Philadelphia Eagles just winning the Super Bowl, now is a good time for an Eagle analogy in our faith walk.
Do you feel restless? Do you sense God is trying to get your attention? Pay attention!
According to the late Dr. Charles Stanley, "God will sometimes make us restless when he is preparing to elevate us. He will move us out of our comfort zone in order to get us to move higher. If we were so satisfied with the status quo, we would never move. Think of an eagle when the mother eagle begins to pull away the soft feathers and begins to expose the baby eagle to the harshness of the nest. The eagle can stay in the nest and suffer or spread its wings and leave the nest and fly into the sky, where it was always meant to be."
Like an Eagle, we can't soar unless we leave the nest and trust God!
